As a humanitarian per excellence, Chief Amb. In addition, Mekens Nigeria Ltd also handled the construction of a 1.5-kilometre road project at the Onitsha–Odekpe Nigerian Naval Outpost in support of the Nigerian Navy and the government’s effort toward strengthening security infrastructure and improving accessibility within the area.

A successful industrialist, respected real estate mogul, business maverick, uncommon philanthropist, and transformative leader of international repute, Chief Amb. Anthony Ikenna Obele was conferred with the prestigious chieftaincy title of Okwunze Aguata by the traditional rulers of the fourteen communities in Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra State, in recognition of his immeasurable contributions to traditional institutions, community development, peace-building, and humanitarian advancement.

Anthony Ikenna Obele began his educational pursuit at Akpu na Orji Primary School, Ezinifite, where he obtained his First School Leaving Certificate, and later attended Community Secondary School, Ezinifite, Anambra State. He further advanced his academic profile by earning a Bachelor of Management degree from Midrand Graduate Institute (MGI), South Africa, a qualification that strategically positioned him for leadership, entrepreneurship, and national assignments.
