EHIZOYA GOLDEN ENTERTAINMENT e.V - PROFILE

We are organizers of Nollywood Film Festival Germany – NFFG as well as it's sister event Nollywood Europe Golden Awards - NEGA.

NFFG has grown to become a viable platform designed for Nollywood (Nigerian/African) film makers to showcase their movies to Europeans and Nollywood lovers in the Diaspora.

In fact it is a veritable educational tool for learning about African culture by African children in the Diaspora.

Nollywood Europe Golden Awards - NEGA Awards, which comes up as a closing ceremony of NFFG event in every last week of July and August annually.

It is designed to honour Nollywood stakeholders, and those in the performing arts (both in Africa and in the Diaspora and has also been expanded to recognize the artistic support and philanthropy of outstanding politicians and business men and women both in Africa and beyond in the area of culture and tourism taking note of their direct and indirect impact upon the African continent and the rest of the world with the Nigeria film industry in particular thereby shaping it into what it has grown to become today.

Before the coming of NFFG/NEGA in 2012 with an event held at Essen, Ehizoya Golden Entertainment e.V had been organizing Nollywood cultural road shows and events since 2002.

It was in 2014 that NFFG and NEGA events birthed in Frankfurt, Germany in alliance with Hessen State Ministry of Arts and Culture – (Städt Frankfurt Kulturamt), Frankfurt Höchst FilmForum Kino, Nigeria Embassy – Berlin, Germany, the Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Nigeria - Frankfurt, Germany and of course, the Nigeria Community Frankfurt Am Main e.V to name but a few.

We have been actively contributing culturally to project Africa's positive image and advancing the synergy between Europe and Africa in general and with Germany and Nigeria in particular as our focal point courtesy of our cultural and entertainment activities.

With years of experience under our belt we have been able to digitalize Berlin. Essen and now Frankfurt as the muti-cultural HUB for Africans across Europe with our activities.

Like a powerful magnetic force, we have been able to pull the crème de la crème of the diverse diplomatic community across the globe to Frankfurt for our annual events.

The list also includes top Africa film and music mega stars as well as Europe based stars to name but a few who have all honoured our invitations to Germany to grace our events.

So many scholars have written books on our cultural promotion successes in Germany, with a plethora of awards across the world to show for our humble efforts in promoting integration with our activities and movies.

Founded in Berlin since 2002 by Isaac Izoya Cultural Ambassador, an Esan, Edo State born Nigerian German based actor, movies producer, showbiz pundit, script writer and Journalist. The organization – has been using Nollywood in particular and entertainment in general as a medium to unearth the hidden artistic talents and promote Nigeria (African) cultural heritage on road shows across Europe before upgrading to NFFG and NEGA events in Frankfurt since 2014:

We have taken over 100 top stars of both Ghana and Nigeria A-List Nollywood, comedians and Hip Hop stars exposing them across Europe believing that the exposure of artistes is veritable vehicle for influencing humanity, culture and the people’s mentality.

“Isaac Izoya, the founder of Ehizoya Golden Entertainment and the first Actor/Producer of Nollywood movie in Germany titled: SINNERS IN THE HOUSE as directed by Lancelot Oduwa Imasue, will surely come first in the aspect of uniting the African entertainment industry with Africans in Europe. This did not only pave way for a lot of artistes but has now engendered a film festival and awards gala aptly called Nollywood Film Festival Germany, NFFG and Nollywood Europe Golden Awards, NEGA” events in Frankfurt Am Main, Germany.

Credited with Cultural Ambassador award in Hamburg, Germany due to his exploits in the productions of cross cultural movies and integration shows which has seen several Nigerian movie stars and comedians exporting their wares to their Europe based fans. With these Integration shows and as the first person ever in German history that produced/starred and premièred - Nollywood film in Berlin, Germany March 1st, 2003. Isaac Izoya has since then made a name for himself by producing or starring in several titles including “UNKNOWN WHITE MALE” (Hollywood movies - with Liam Neeson and Diane Kruger). French TV commercial film” Berlinalle short film and German film with German legend Rolf Eden – “Final Farewell” - Abschiedstournee. Nollywood movies – Sinners In The House, Home And Abroad, Love In Berlin, Zero Your Mind, Saving The crown, Sins of Seductions, Fortunes Card, Run!
